For most growth-stage app teams, Linkrunner gives more from the first install: deep linking and attribution in one SDK, every feature on every plan, a published per-install price with a rupee rate card, and engineers you can message directly. Airbridge's entry price looks lower, but Core covers four ad networks, excludes fraud detection and raw data, and bills every event your app sends rather than every install you acquire.
This comparison uses only what each company publishes, checked on 27 October 2026, and every Airbridge claim links to its source. One disclosure: this is the Linkrunner blog. Where Airbridge is the better choice, we say so.
Airbridge vs Linkrunner: who is each one built for?
Linkrunner: a Bangalore-built mobile measurement partner (MMP) that unifies attribution, deep linking and SKAN reporting in one SDK, priced per attributed install, with every feature on every plan.
Airbridge: an MMP built by Seoul-based AB180 that attributes app and web conversions and prices its entry plan by data points (events), not installs.
The short verdict:
- Linkrunner fits most growth-stage app teams, especially in India and across APAC: 25k free installs with no deadline, fraud control and raw data from the first install, rupee billing, and a cost that grows with acquisition, not engagement.
- Airbridge fits two narrow cases: you measure PC or console games alongside mobile, or you need impression-level ad revenue from mediation platforms inside your MMP.

Pricing: attributed installs vs data points
Linkrunner, per the Linkrunner pricing page:
- Free: 25k attributed installs, no credit card, no calendar expiry.
- Growth: $0.012 per install up to 10k a month, $0.010 up to 50k, then $0.009, $0.008 and $0.007 above 500k. Indian teams can pay ₹1.20 per install up to 50k, falling to ₹0.80 above 500k.
- How the rate applies: volume pricing; the month's total sets one rate for every billable install. True organic installs, re-engagements and unconverted clicks are not billed. Postpaid, no annual contract.
Airbridge, per the Airbridge pricing page:
- Core: a 30-day free trial, then from $40 a month with 500k data points included, and $0.0001 per data point after that.
- What a data point is: every event Airbridge collects, such as an install, app open, trial start or purchase. Link clicks, impressions and postbacks to ad networks do not count.
- Airbridge's own estimate: $40 covers about 35k monthly active users at typical usage.
- Growth: custom pricing, "based on MAU or installs".
Why the unit matters. Data points count events from every active user, organic and long-retained included, so an Airbridge Core bill grows with engagement. Linkrunner's grows only with acquisition. At Linkrunner's $0.010 rate, one attributed install costs the same as 100 Airbridge data points. Below roughly 100 events per attributed install, Core's unit maths can come out lower; above it, per-install pricing usually wins.
Worked example 1, a light-usage app: 20k attributed installs and around 100k monthly active users at Airbridge's "typical usage".
- Airbridge Core: Airbridge's estimate implies roughly 1.4M data points, about $130 a month, for four networks with no fraud detection or raw data.
- Linkrunner: 20k at $0.010 is $200 a month (about ₹24k on the INR card), with every feature; the first 25k installs on the account cost nothing.
Worked example 2, a daily-use app: the same 20k installs and 100k active users, each sending around 10 events a day.
- Airbridge Core: about 30M data points, so roughly $3k a month at the published rate.
- Linkrunner: still $200, because engagement is not billed.
So Core is cheaper in one case: a light-usage app on Google, Meta, Apple Ads and TikTok only, needing no fraud tools or raw data. Our comparison of free MMP plans covers trials and allowances across eight vendors.
What does each entry plan actually include?
Linkrunner has no feature split by plan:
- Fraud Control, raw data via CSV, data APIs and webhooks, and custom events on every plan, including Free
- Unlimited seats, no export or API fees; Free keeps 30 days of data, Growth 365
Airbridge's own plan comparison table lists, on Core:
- Attribution, postbacks and audience sync for Google, Meta, Apple Ads and TikTok only
- Standard events only, no custom events
- Up to 2 third-party integrations
- No fraud detection (validation rules, SDK signature and abnormal install detection are all Growth)
- No raw data export, including CSV, cloud storage and webhooks
- No uninstall tracking
- 100 Pilot AI calls a month per account; unlimited on Growth
- Ticket-based support; a dedicated CSM and migration support are Growth only
So the like-for-like comparison is usually Linkrunner Growth against Airbridge Growth, and only Linkrunner publishes that price.
Where Linkrunner is stronger
- One SDK for deep linking and attribution: deferred deep linking on every link by default, with no separate deep-linking product to integrate.
- Every feature on every plan: the free 25k one-time installs get the same product as a paying team, at published dollar and rupee rates.
- Speed: go live within a week.
- Direct engineer support: the Bangalore engineers who build the product answer by email, call, WhatsApp and Slack, within one business day. Airbridge Core support is by ticket.
- Fraud Control included: 8 rule templates covering click injection, install hijacking, SDK spoofing and click flooding, with a choice to tag installs or tag and withhold postbacks.
- Link AI: the Linkrunner MCP server has 51 tools for querying attribution data from Claude and other AI clients, plus Agent Skills.
- India and APAC: Jio Ads, the first MMP to attribute installs from ChatGPT Ads, and customers in Indonesia, the Philippines and Nepal.
- Security and data control: ISO 27001:2022, SOC 2 Type 2 and GDPR, opt-in PII hashing, and Bring Your Own Cloud for raw data.
- Scale proof: Jumbo Gaming has tracked $1M+ in revenue across 200+ campaigns on Linkrunner.
Does Airbridge offer probabilistic attribution for iOS?
Yes. Airbridge's help centre says it prioritises deterministic matching and uses probabilistic attribution only when no deterministic identifier is available.
- How it works: Airbridge's identity matching guide says probabilistic modelling links touchpoint and conversion within a 6-hour timeframe. When IDFA is unavailable because of App Tracking Transparency, it falls back to IDFV or a random value.
- ATT opt-outs: per Airbridge's attribution enhancements page, machine-learning probabilistic modelling has covered ATT opt-out devices on iOS 14.5+ since 1 April 2024, with no setup.
- SKAN: Airbridge's iOS page lists SKAN 3.0 and 4.0, configurable conversion values and an overlap view.
Linkrunner also matches deterministically first, with IP and user-agent matching only as a fallback, and offers a SKAN 4.0 wizard and AdAttributionKit support.
To validate it in either trial, ask for one campaign's iOS installs split by match method (deterministic, probabilistic, SKAN). Our guide to when probabilistic attribution still wins explains how to read that split.
Where Airbridge has an edge
- PC, console and CTV: PC and console attribution (Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, Epic) and CTV on Growth, with a published PC tracking guide. Linkrunner does not offer PC or console attribution; it covers CTV through household IP view-through.
- Ad revenue: impression-level ad revenue from mediation platforms such as AppLovin MAX and AdMob, on Core. Linkrunner does not offer this.
- Smart banners: a web-to-app banner and branded interstitial. Linkrunner does not offer smart banners.
- Network catalogue: 330+ ad networks, on the custom-priced Growth plan. Linkrunner covers Meta, Google, TikTok, Apple Search Ads, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Reddit, Jio Ads, Sandbox Ads and ChatGPT Ads on every plan, and other networks can connect as tech partners.
- Setup agent: Airbridge says its onboarding agent installs and configures the SDK within an hour.
Choose Linkrunner if, choose Airbridge if
Choose Linkrunner if:
- You want fraud control, raw data and custom events without a sales call
- You want deep linking and attribution in one SDK
- Your app is engaged, so event counts outrun new installs
- Your traffic is India-heavy or spread across APAC, you run Jio Ads, creators or ChatGPT Ads, or you want rupee billing
- You want to start free and stay free until 25k attributed installs
Choose Airbridge if:
- You measure PC or console games alongside mobile
- You need mediation ad revenue reporting inside your MMP
Take the same five questions into both demos, drawn from our questions to ask in MMP demos:
- What will I pay at my real event count and install count, in writing?
- Which features are missing on the plan you are quoting?
- What share of my iOS installs will be probabilistic, and can I see it?
- Can I export all raw data on this plan, and at what cost?
- Can you show a deferred deep link surviving an Instagram in-app browser, live?
FAQ
Is Airbridge free? No. Airbridge offers a 30-day free trial, after which Core costs from $40 a month with 500k data points included. Linkrunner's free plan covers 25k attributed installs with every feature and no time limit.
Does Airbridge offer probabilistic attribution for iOS campaigns affected by ATT? Yes. Since April 2024, Airbridge applies machine-learning probabilistic modelling to ATT opt-out devices on iOS 14.5 and later, after deterministic methods, within a 6-hour window.
Is Linkrunner cheaper than Airbridge? For most growing apps, yes, like for like. Airbridge Core costs less only for light-usage apps (under roughly 100 events per attributed install) on four networks without fraud tools or raw data. Beyond that, Core's event bill climbs or you move to Growth's quoted price.
Can I switch from Airbridge to another MMP later? Yes. Switching means replacing the SDK and reconnecting ad networks, ideally with a short parallel run. Our MMP migration playbook covers the steps.
The practical takeaway
Both tools handle the core MMP job, including deterministic-first matching with a probabilistic fallback on iOS. The difference is what you get for what you pay. Linkrunner prices attributed installs and includes deep linking, fraud control, raw data and direct engineer support from the first one. Airbridge prices every event and keeps fraud detection, raw data, custom events and its wider network catalogue on a quoted Growth plan. Unless you need PC or console measurement or mediation ad revenue, Linkrunner is the better fit for a growth-stage team.
Work out your events per attributed install, then request a demo of Linkrunner and take the five questions above into both calls.
